I suggest that you never take a stock tip from your old pal Señor Sun-N-Gun.  I mean, don’t get me wrong.  I’m great at spotting trends.  Unfortunately, I’m phenomenal at spotting trends IMMEDIATELY before they end.  For example, before Game 2 of this series I pointed out that the Suns, for 4 consecutive games, had allowed the Blazers to impose their will upon them.  The Suns promptly played at their tempo and crushed Portland.
At halftime, I mentioned that the Suns had won six consecutive quarters. Â They went out and immediately lost the 3rd quarter by 7.
I think the Suns forgot that this wasn’t a hockey game (it’s understandable with that Canuck as their floor leader) and that there are actually 4 periods. Â They played like garbage time had already begun (they didn’t put Dwayne Jones in, but you know what I mean). Â It’s sounds like the crowds gettin’ a little fired up. Â Better shut ‘em up on the quicks, Suns. Â See y’all after the game.
