Last night, the Phoenix Suns held the 10th annual Jack in the Box Celebrity Shootout, featuring Common, DJ Clue, Lil Romeo, Kerry Rhodes of the Arizona Cardinals, and Frankie Muniz. Chris Brown also danced for the crowd at halftime.
The two teams were coached by Jared Dudley and Grant Hill. Jared Dudley’s twitter feed leading into the game was abuzz with questions for his players as to what skills they’d bring to the court and what NBA players best described their game – and that in-depth coaching served JMZ well, as his team emerged victorious. Chris Brown was named the MVP of the game, but according to Dudley, Kerry Rhodes led the team to victory, and Common was the vocal leader of the squad. Dudley also said that Frankie Muniz was the spot-up sniper for the team.
Grant Hill’s squad was led by Common and included Billy Blanks, Mann, and Anthony Anderson.
Tickets, which ranged in price from $13 to $112, went toward raising money for Phoenix Suns Charities. Check out a picture gallery of the event here!
