The Game That Could’ve Been: Strat-o-matic Sucks

Yep, I said it. Strat-o-matic sucks for one reason:

They didn’t buy out Vince Carter in their simulation.

HOW ON EARTH CAN YOU NOT BUY OUT VINCE CARTER?

That, and Vince Carter actually cared about the  game in this sim, so it just goes to prove… Vince shouldn’t be included in the simulation, or should just have some kind of weighed die put in anytime he does something to signify his careless attitude.

Either way, now that we have Vince out of the way, let me show you the box score. See more absurds? Robin Lopez outscoring Marcin Gortat?  That’s a good one.

So, the only advantage when it came to comparing this to my 2k12 simulation, was the fact that Steve Nash had 12 assists and didn’t have 6 turnovers, something that should be fixed in NBA 2k12 by the next gameday. Also, the Suns won, which is always fun to know.

I’ll post the full 2k12 box score down here soon. Soon means, as soon as I have the strength to re-write a bunch of numbers very carefully.
