There and Back Game Grades, Part 1

by Suns

So, Kobe Bryant murdered the Suns. Again. So predictable… So… So… Predictable. However, they did let Shannon dunk. So who gets good grades, who gets bad grades? Here we go:

Marcin Gortat: A+
Gortat may have made his greatest case for All-Star consideration, as he outplayed Andrew Bynum scoring 21 points and grabbing 16 rebounds. He also destroyed Troy Murphy with a vicious dunk. The Polish Hammer at his best, ladies and gents

Steve Nash: A
Nash was not entirely dominant, but he did manage to hand out 17 dimes (turning the ball over a Jeremy Lin-like 7 times), while scoring 11 points. Just another day in the office for the Canadian.

Shannon Brown: B+
Shannon was solid, providing a spark in the 4th, starting a rally that never ended. As much as I hate to give him props… Well… Props, Shannon, props.

Markieff Morris: B+
Markieff stole the ball 3 times, blocked it twice and scored 14 points. All while Channing Frye was terrible. I know he struggles as a starter, but with the way Channing has been playing, I’d give it another shot.

Grant Hill: B
Grant did his best on Kobe, passed the ball well to reach 4 assists, and scored an efficient 8 points.

Jared Dudley: B-
The Junkyard Dog made some timely baskets, played some D, hustled… But it wasn’t enough. Too bad.

Michael Redd: C+
Offensively solid, defensively below par. A mediocre game for Redd

The Rest: F
Particularly Channing Frye. Absolutely no input out there whatsoever.
