Okay Suns fans! Rest up, relax and get ready for your Phoenix Suns 2012-2013 regular season tip-off is only 4 days away! The Suns wrapped up their final game of preseason in a strong win over the Denver Nuggets 88-72.

The Suns were led by Michael Beasley’s 29 points and 10 rebounds. Beasley scored 18 of his 29 points in the 1st half and made 3 3-pointers the entire game. Goran Dragic added 13 points and 6 assists, Luis Scola and Marcin Gortat each added 8 rebounds.

The Denver Nuggets came into the game clearly out of sync and not in rhythm. The Nuggets committed 27 turnovers, shot 36.5% from the field, and shot 18.2% from 3-point land on Friday night.

Let’s give credit where the credit is due, the Suns played very well defensively and held the Denver Nuggets to 26 second half points; exceptional work. The Suns played the passing lanes like blood hounds picking up 9 steals, including 4 by Sebastian Telfair.

The Suns didn’t play particularly well against the Nuggets but it was over shadowed by Beasley’s performance who lifted the Suns to their win. The Suns were out rebounded by 13 rebounds, 7 of them were offensive rebounds. The Suns will rest up and prepare for the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday night, the first game of the Suns 2012-2013 season.
