Heading into tonight’s match-up against the Phoenix Suns, the Cleveland Cavaliers will likely be without two of their top rookies this season in Dion Waiters and big man Tyler Zeller.

Both of those guys had their status in question for tonight’s game however it’s now confirmed that Zeller will miss the game due to fractured cheekbone and concussion on Monday. According to the Akron Beacon-Journal, head coach Byron Scott said he will likely return to the lineup on Sunday against Oklahoma City.

On the other hand Dion Waiters who’s been an absolute stud this season is dealing with a bruised leg and couldn’t put weight on his bruised leg the other night, but he was moving around better on Friday, according to the Akron Beacon-Journal’s Jason Lloyd. He’s likely a game-time decision.

So with these two guys out the Cavs will likely dig deeper into their already thin bench which gives the advantage to the Suns. With Waiters potentially out the Cavs will be without their 2nd leading scorer this season.
