The Starters: A+
Everyone contributed. Channing, Marcin, Jared, Grant, Steve. I don’t think I can nitpick anything, as the bench kept digging them into holes, and they kept clawing out of them. What a great, great game for these guys.

The Bench: F
Well, a tale of two units, while the Starters won the game, the bench came close to losing it. Bassy Telfair might deserve a C+, but other than him, these guys were terrible as a whole. I mean, ouches.

Steve Nash: A+
Do I really have to explain this? 25 points, 10 assists.

Jared Dudley: A+
28 points, which is a season high for Jared. He was slashing through the Wolves coverage, and getting open shots. Didn’t drop a big one though. Sadsies.

Robin Lopez: B+
Robin was solid. Nothing to it. Replaced Marcin in foul trouble and did a good job of it, but his -14 rating does give you fits… Weird, weird game.

Channing Frye: B+
Channing got really lazy with his D on Kevin Love in the second half. I mean, really lazy. A good night offensively, though.

Sebastian Telfair: B+
Sebastian was bad in the first half, only to come back with a vengeance in the second, cueing a Suns run. I was mildly impressed.

Grant Hill: B
Grant did what Grant does. Scored points, played D. And so on.

Shannon Brown: B
Shannon was exceptionally effective off the bench. Now let’s take a minute to thank the Minny guards for letting him do that.

Marcin Gortat: B/F
Look, the foul trouble was just unlucky, let’s not pretend that Gortat kept making bonehead moves. What was also silly was Alvin Gentry not even letting him play through the trouble (insert Jeff van Gundy rant about taking out players due to foul trouble). When Gortat was on the floor, however, he had an efficient game, and ended with a +9 rating in a mere 20 minutes of play. All of my hate, Alvin.
